SIM4NEXUS Project Meeting in Trebon

Published Jun 16, 2017

June 1st-2nd, Czech Republic

On June 1st-2nd, another SIM4NEXUS  Project Meeting took place in Trebon, Czech Republic. The event had 3 specific objectives:
• Get updated on the achievements during the first year of SIM4NEXUS
• Interaction and planning of cross-overs between the case studies and the thematic work packages
• Plan for the coming year in the project
The event initiated a new phase of the project where the relevant case studies are scheduled to produce outcomes following a commonly defined, step-by-step process while all the data (besides this featuring non-disclosure terms) will be saved in a fully open database.
Plenary presentation were given, while the Consortium was also split into working groups to discuss the progress of the case studies. Two plenary working sessions were also held with the first one coordinated by KTH-dESA PhD students  and  as well as Hector Pollitt from Cambridge Econometrics. The session helped the KTH team collect useful information from the case studies to contribute to the conceptualization of the under development, nexus analysis framework.
