Agriculture Trade and Foreign Investments for Sustainable Regional Integration in the Caucasus and Central Asia
In cooperation with the Institute of Scientific Research on Economic Reforms ( ISRER ) of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies ( IAMO ) organized a conference entitled “ Agriculture Trade and Foreign Investments for Sustainable Regional Integration in Caucasus and Central Asia ” in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 6 to 7 September 2018. Moderated by SIM4NEXUS coordinator Floor Brouwer, one parallel session on “Resources and production factors – The measurement challenge” featured two presentations related to the SIM4NEXUS project. The first one, given by Floor Brouwer (WUR-LEI), covered aspects of “The water-energy-food-land-climate nexus and transdisciplinary research for a resource-efficient Europe”. The second one delivered by KTH-dESA PhD candidate by with contribution from (KTH-dESA),Stefania Munaretto and Farhad Mukhtarov was entitled “A multi-modelling framework to assess the energy-water-land-food-climate nexus in Azerbaijan”.
