OSeMOSYS at EGU General Assembly 2017

An introductory course on OSeMOSYS will be given by KTH-dESA researchers on April 25th, at 15.30, in Vienna at the 2017 EGU General Assembly. The course will first introduce the attendees to energy and electricity system modelling and its policy relevance. Then it will describe in an interactive fashion the ethos, the basics and the use of OSeMOSYS (the Open Source Energy Modelling System) and the web-based interface MoManI (Model Management Infrastructure). The attendees will be finally given the opportunity to familiarise with OSeMOSYS and MoManI and explore training case studies. More information can be found  here . During the same event, lasting from April 23rd to 28th, posters on the latest advancements in the development of OSeMOSYS and MoManI will also be presented.
The EGU provides a forum where scientists can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience from all over the world.
