New Open Source Spatial Electrification Tool (ONSSET) application to Nigeria published in the Journal Energy for Sustainable Development. The work identifies cost optimal electrification technologies using a geographical information systems approach. It is unique as the bulk of the data is publically sourced. This allows first-pass electrification analysis to be undertaken rapidly and transparently replicated.
