In Zimbabwe, 59% of the population does not have access to electricity.
UNDESA
in collaboration withKTH dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 1.3 – 35.3 billion USD depending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 21.35 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
