Lighting up South Sudan!

n South Sudan, ~95% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA  in collaboration with KTH-dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 0.08 – 36.3 billion USD depending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 17.8 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
