High Level-Meeting on Modelling Tools to Inform Sustainable Development Policies

On the sidelines of the first international CLEWs summer school, a high level meeting was organised, on the 29th & 30th of June in trieste, Italy, to discuss and explore the usage of modelling tools to inform better policies. The dignitaries attending the meeting included the Vice minister for planning in Costa Rica, the Deputy Secretary of Planning and Environmental Policy at Mexico’s Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the Deputy CEO of International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and many other high ranking diplomats representing national governments and leading research institutions in the field of sustainable development.
