CLEWs work featured at the 2017 EGU General Assembly

The European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly 2017  was held in Vienna, Austria, between the 23rd and 28th of April. The event recorded a remarkably high level of attendance with 4,849 oral, and 11,312 poster presentations. KTH-dESA had an active participation in the field of nexus analysis with two oral presentations.  presented his research on the “Global CLEWs model - A novel application of OSeMOSYS” on the 24th (session chaired by KTH-dESA Director Mark Howells), while  presented her work on "Mapping the Green Infrastructure potential - and its water-energy impacts on New York City roof Tops” on the 28th. In the poster session on the 24th, “Investigating competing uses of unevenly distributed resources in Nicaragua applying the Climate, Land Use (Food), Energy and Water strategies framework” by , “Integrated resource assessment of the Drina River Basin” by  and “Climate Vulnerability of Hydro-power infrastructure in the Eastern African Power Pool” by  were displayed.
