Published Apr 06, 2018

First stakeholder workshop on April 18th

One of the 12 nexus case studies explored in the SIM4NEXUS  H2020 project is that of Sweden. This effort is led by the Environmental Analysis group  of the Department of Earth Sciences of Uppsala University. On March 7, Dr. Malgorzata Blicharska  and KTH-dESA researchers  and  convened in a meeting on KTH campus under the prism of the SIM4NEXUS project. KTH-dESA is in charge of conceptualizing a framework to assist the case studies with the analysis of the physical interactions of the Nexus. Therefore, the two parties had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss the progress of relevant tasks. An important component of each case study is the participation of stakeholders in the development of the investigation. The first participatory workshop of the case study of Sweden will cover topics related to, among others, synergies and conflicts in the different areas of politics in Sweden, EU politics and its interactions and interference with Swedish law, as well as available tools and instruments in different sectors, that relate to the Nexus. The workshop will take place at Clarion Gillet Hotel in Uppsala, on April 18, from 9.30 to 16.00. Lunch, fika and travel expenses are covered for anyone interested to join. If you are interested to take part of the workshop, please contact the organisers Dr. Malgorzata Blicharska  and/or Dr. Claudia Teutschbein . Read more about the case study here .
