Professor Mikael Östling new vice-president of the IEEE Electron Devices Society

Professor Mikael Östling has been appointed vice-president of the IEEE Electron Devices Society from January 1, 2014, at the annual meeting in Washington DC in December.

His portfolio covers membership and educational activities. He was also re-elected to the EDS Board of Governors for 2014-2016. IEEE Electron Devices society is one the largest societies within IEEE with about 11000 international members. Professor Östling is an IEEE Fellow and an editor of the IEEE Electron Device Letters.
