We will become a part of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

On the 1st of January, the School of Information and Communication Technology will merge with two other operations at KTH becoming the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. It will be the largest school at KTH with over 1000 employees.

In 2018 the School of Information and Communication Technology with the School of Computer Science and Communication and the School of Electrical Engineering, three fields that are closely connected in both research and education.

Electrical engineering and computer science is an internationally recognized combination of subjects with counterparts at universities like MIT and Berkeley

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science will be led by Head of School Jens Zander, Deputy Heads of School Ann Lantz and Lars Nordström, and Head of Administration Christina Zander.
