iPack ready to launch their third phase

iPack VINN Excellence Center, coordinated at the Electronics Systems department at the School of Information and Communication Technology, have now signed the agreements and is ready to launch their next three year research period.

In the preparations for phase three, iPack have undergone a major restructuring. Focus for the coming period will be on system integration, building upon results from previous research in order to integrate functional systems.

– The mission is to help drive a Swedish leadership into heterogeneous integration of sensible systems for logistics and health care, says Professor Axel Jantsch, director of the iPack center.

Projects within iPack are jointly defined between academia and industry, and the applications range from logistics to environmental monitoring and health care. iPack is equally funded by VINNOVA, KTH and industry and have an annual budget of 21 MSEK. Industrial partners for phase three are; Ambigua Medito AB, AstraZeneca, Blekinge Landsting, CamTech Filter AB, Catena Wireless Electronics AB, CathPrint AB, Imsys Technologies AB, Kiwok Nordic AB, Parrot AB, Sta Maria Water AB, Trewell Embellage AB, Wermland Logistic Center AB and Xaar Jet AB.
