New Report on AI, Sustainability and Agenda 2030
EHL scholars Sabine Höhler, Erik Ljungberg and Adam Wickberg contribute in the In the newly published WASP-HS report "AI, Sustainability and Agenda 2030". Their part focuses on the politics and epistemologies of environmental data for AI in the context of Agenda 2030. They argue for pushback against the race for ever larger models and suggest more caution.
"Artificial intelligence (AI) impacts our journey in reaching the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals in more ways than one. In the newly published WASP-HS report “AI, sustainability and Agenda 2030”, the conclusions from the community reference meeting that took place on October 4 are presented."
