Baltic Conference on Environmental Humanities and Social Sciences co-organised with the Centre

The conference runs October 23-25 and is Co-organized by the Center for Anthropocene History’s Kati Lindström.

The third edition of the Conference for Baltic Humanities and Social Sciences starts today, October 23rd, in Póznan, Poland, with Kati Lindström of the Centre for Anthropocene History at KTH, serving as the Head of the Programme Committee for the conference.

This year call for the conference focused on the Anthropocene and environmentalism in the Baltic Sea area.

The conference features keynotes from Heli Huhtamaa (University of Bern) and Adam Izdebski (Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology).

It is organised jointly between Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the Anthropocene History Centre at KTH, Tallinn University and Albert Ludwig University Freiburg.
