John Liagouris, Boston University
John Liagouris is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Boston University, where he co-leads the Complex Analytics and Scalable Processing Research Lab (CASP Lab).

His research is in distributed systems and databases, currently focusing on building data processing systems with strong security guarantees. Before joining Boston University, John was a Senior Researcher (oberassistent) at the Systems Group, ETH Zurich, a Visiting Scholar at the RISELab, UC Berkeley, and a Visiting Research Assistant at the University of Hong Kong. John obtained his PhD from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and spent a few years as a Research Fellow at the “Athena” Research Center Greece.
