TGIF and finally, it is Friday and the weekend again! Today I would like to share how I usually spend my weekends here in Stockholm. I hope this blog post will give you some insight into your weekend plans!
What would be the best Friday activity, in my opinion? It must be hanging out with my friends and celebrating after the hustle and bustle of the week! It is high time to give ourselves a break from studying and work through playing cards and board games. Having someone to share the weekly updates with while chilling out is always the best moment for me!
As autumn is almost ending while winter is approaching, I am trying to make good use of the daylight these days. Famous for its abundant green spaces and nature, one of my favourite weekend activities is exploring the parks around Stockholm. One of my personal favourites is the Humlegården, which is just five minutes walk from our main campus.
The first time I visited there was during my first buddy group meeting back in August. Together with my buddies from the architecture school, we tried playing the traditional Swedish game Kubb there for the first time. (Until now, I am still struggling to make a successful hit every time I play it) And right now, during autumn, it is high time to go there to capture the golden scene created by the fallen leaves!
So what is up next on my list? That would be likely a visit to the Hötorget weekend flea market! Last week when I passed by Hötorget square, I discovered this mesmerising market selling things of all different kinds. So stay tuned for my upcoming review about that!
Finally, I hope you all have a lovely weekend as well!
