Classic courses
Our team is involved in several KTH courses both at the bachelor and master levels. This is a summarizing picture of the typical course offering for students in electrical engineering that would like to specialize in electric machines and drives. The boxes in darker blue are given by EMD noblemen, while the lighter blue boxes are given by other noblemen at KTH but are very important for working in the EMD research field. The boxes with gradient blue colors refer to shared teaching duties between us and other noblemen at KTH.
A detailed description of each course content can be found on the KTH website, following the links here below.
- EJ1200 Electric Power Systems
- EJ2201 Electrical Machines and Drives – students’ feedback on Course development
- EJ2301 Power Electronics
- EJ2222 Design of Electrical Machines
- EJ2230 Control in Electrical Energy Conversion
- EJ2311 Modulation of Power Electronic Converters
- EJ2420 Seminars in Electrical Machines and Power Electronics
- EJ2440 Electric Transportation
- EJ2400 Electric Traction
- EJ2410 Hybrid Vehicle Drives
Individual project courses
It is also worth mentioning that KTH offers the students the possibility of gaining credits through individual project courses which can be added to the student’s study plan:
- EN2911 Individual Project in Electric Power and Energy Systems I
- EN2912 Individual Project in Electric Power and Energy Systems II
If any KTH student is interested in performing a semester-based project in the EMD research field, have a look at the page Work with us.
