Additive Manufacturing /3D Printing - Digitalization - from Data to Product
What is Additive Manufacturing/3D printing? How will it influence the market, especially the maritime and oil & gas business? How does DNV GL, a global quality assurance and risk management company, address Additive Manufacturing/3D printing? Challenges and possibilities? Take the chance to find out when DNV GL’s Marit Haugen Norheim, vice president, materials specialist, will introduce us to the world of Additive Manufacturing/3D printing.
Tour of the Failure Investigation Laboratory and the Structural Strength Laboratory
We will get a guide tour of the two laboratories to see how different components look like after a failure and what kind of test facilities are offered. Hanna Karlsson, senior engineer, materials technology (and graduate from Chalmers) will show us around and explain how DNV GL combine industry experts with domain knowledge of the asset, material and operations to quickly and accurately diagnose the cause of failure.
