The area

The closest grocery store is located in Tensta (one subway station before Hjulsta). Rinkeby station will provide other options for groceries/goods. Kista centrum, a large shopping mall is located about 20 minutes away.

The apartments

Apartments have a separate kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven plus pots, pans and kitchen utensils are provided in the apartment. One set of dishes and silverware are also included. Also, a dining table and 2 chairs are provided.

One bed, 140cm, with a mattress and mattress cover. One 4-drawer dresser and one two- drawer bedside nightstand are also included. A sitting chair with a coffee table, bookshelf in the living room are included. In the one-bedroom apartments, there is a small couch included in the living room.

You provide your own bedding, or you can state in your housing application that you wish to purchase a start-kit of bedding from KTH Accommodation.

There is a separate bathroom with a shower and tub.

A bucket and mop are all provided in the apartment. The mop cloth attachment can be washed in 60 degrees and air dried. Cleaning instructions for move-out will be provided about a month before departure.

Internet and utilities

Heat, electricity, water and garbage removal are included. The white box near the floor in the living room is where you connect to the internet. You will need your own router or network cable. Contact Bahnhof if you have any issues at: 010-5100000.

Gabarge and recycling

There are garbage bins with round silver doors located at the back of the building to the right. The recycling hut is located in the parking lot further away from the tunnelbana station, just off of Tenstavägen.

Laundry

Laundry facilities are located around the corner from the café, labeled “Tvättstugan”. Your key labeled with a number will work for booking the laundry room, and entering it. You need to have time booked to enter the laundry room.

Keys

You will receive two keys to the front door of the apartment, and a key to the recycling hut. You will also receive a plastic key to hold up to the pad in order to come into the building and your floor, marked with a number. This tag also gets you into the laundry room. Please note the old apartment number (starts with 18**) is the number on the actual door (high up, right corner). For all other purposes, tax office registration, post, please refer to the number on the contract.
