Summer plans for me and the blog!

Hello everybody and welcome to this new post! I hope you are all doing great. I’m tuning in today for a quick recap of what will happen during the next couple of months, as there are some exciting changes coming up for the blog and Instagram channels of KTH!

Sunset over a boat.
Summer sunsets are super late! This was around 22.15.

First off, I want to share that I have finally completed my final exams and last deliveries! It has been quite a ride, from the exhilaration of attending my first practical laboratories to the sneaky fear of missing one of the assignment deadlines. But I can proudly say that I made it through, and now my Summer “break” begins!

During the next couple of months, I will join Scania for a summer internship. I will be working on a project related to Fluid Mechanics, and I can’t wait to dive into it. The best part is, I will take you with me in this journey through the Swedish work life! I know that job-related content is always appreciated, so I thought it would be great to share my experiences and give you a glimpse into a realistic working environment during the summer. However, I won’t be doing it here on the blog.

Indeed, the blog will take a summer break, but don’t worry! The adventure continues on the Instagram page. I will be moving there and keep you updated on my Swedish life through that social media. It will be a new exciting challenge for me! I have to admit, I feel slightly embarrassed at the thought of my face showing up in the feeds of thousands of you… but hey, I’ll get through it. Hopefully. Or maybe not.

I love Summer evenings: so many things to do around Stockholm!

With that being said, I want to wish you all good luck with your remaining exams, if you still have any. Also, I highly recommend checking out Raygo’s latest post on Nymble (read it to discover what it is!) and Martyna’s last post on essentials to get before arriving in Sweden. They are both worth a read!

See you next week, and stay tuned for more updates during this week!
